tire size

Is the aftermarket tires (589s or mudlites) the same size as the stock tires? Have you noticed any power loss or any excess wear and tear with the more aggresive tire?

Nope... Stock tires on my 700/ 02 were 25". Ken, Miren, Jack and Dan ride on 26" and (keep it on the road) Larry rides on 27" tires.... As far as differences in power, you'll have to talk to them... I ride my stock 25" tires.

lol

2 of the guys who went riding with us this weekend...they were lost in the forest, for several hours, a few weeks ago, gps batteries were dead...no clue where they were at....
the guy who planned out our route for this ride happen to run across them, (aka Grizzly Adams on a quad as one of the people called him, he knows that forest well) I guess at some point he told them about atvflorida.com and they wound up gettin on there and tagging along for this ride...kinda cool..
