What does Ply mean

If i was looking at tires, when they say 6 ply or 4 ply, are they referring to just the sidewalls or the entire tire?

Sidewall and tread plies should be listed seperately...

Exactly...though most get lazy, and list only 1 for ATV....which means they're both the same.

I find it best to call the manufacture direct. This has always worked good for me.
