what is the widest tire i can put on the stock rim for a 2004 polaris sportsman 600

Is your quad stock? or... does/will it have a lift kit?

heya, yer not far from me! (about 90 min).
I'm not sure yet myself, I am probably gonna upgrade mine here real soon!

I did just throw on a new set of mudlites on the front, stock size tho..
2003 Polaris Sportsman 600 Twin, w/Warn 2500# winch, k&n filter, handguards, Kimpex Deluxe seat/storage, Kimpex front box, WayBackRacks fuel rack. Mud Lites, Mud chunks, a lil tin can :D

I would not get tires any bigger than what I have. They rub the fenders on heavy bumps...


26" x 9 and 26 x 12


The fronts are more sensitive to the width/height than the rear, because of the fender.


The 2005's....have TONS of room. Big improvement.

what r u runnin? 589's?

I have to imagine thats a bit much lug for general trail riding tho, which i do a LOT
I need another set of rims if i'm gonna get another set of tires.

Yeah....Jack, Terry, Miren and I all have 589's. They're definitely not the best tire for trail riding. I kept my 2 sets of Rawhide, in case we go trail riding.
