Prairie City - Friday

Postby Ken » Tue Feb 06, 2007 9:19 am

FYI....I'm going to be at Prairie City on Friday...after lunch. Just bombing around....takin' Cajungal's boys out for a ride...with the rain..it should be muddy.

If anyone wants to play....just letting you all know.

Not many hills but there are lots of rocks. They even have a MX track just for quads. If that flamboyant weatherman is right, there should be plenty of mud.

Postby nocoad » Thu Feb 08, 2007 3:27 pm

Just seeing if you guys are still going to Prarie City tomorrow. It's starting to rain again and I have visions of huge mud puddles in my head.

If Ya'll want to repeat on Sat.. I'm in - otherwise - I might be testing the local roads - going to drive up wentworth and see where the snow line starts.

Riding went good.
We found a mini Highlifter mud bog. (Let’s say Lowlifters mud bog) Me and Ken both got stuck and had to cable out one time or another
We got down to the tops of the fenders. Kind of weird trails every 10 to 20ft going all different ways you could think of. I would only go when wet. Dust would be a killer.
That was the fist time I went riding out there. Trails ever witch way  (Just like a spider web)

That's one reason I'm not crazy about riding there. Kim and I took our saftey class out there (kinda hard to believe I took one eh?).

During the ride along the trails we had to keep dodging bikes running all over the place. couple of close calls.

And yes dust was BAD.. think it was pushing 95-100 the day we took the class.
